MasterChef 2018 finalist, Nawamin Pinpathomrat, and Scottish Chef Personality of the Year, Jimmy Lee (head chef at award winning Lychee Oriental in Glasgow) were at Tigerlily in Edinburgh last night for an evening of modern Asian cuisine.

Both chefs were in the Scottish Capital for a special 'supper club' hosted by the BBC's hit TV show Thai Chef Nawamin, at the popular George Street restaurant and bar. The sold out events that took place over two nights on Wednesday 20th and Thursday 21st June were enjoyed by over 100 Masterchef enthusiasts who tucked into an 3 exquisite courses, canapès and arrival drinks all hosted by Nawamin himself.
Nawamin brought the traditions of Thailand to the MasterChef kitchen, but often added his own adventurous spin. He booked his place in the final with a pork satay dish that included profiteroles filled with spicy peanut sauce and topped with white chocolate, a unusual combination that both judges agreed worked brilliantly.
"I had a wonderful 2 nights, hosting my very first supper club at Tigerlily Edinburgh. Thanks everyone for coming, Hope you the event as mush as I did."
