Kinrara Distillery in Aviemore have released an Artist Edition Highland Dry Gin, named ‘Ginny the Coo’. Kinrara have collaborated with young Scottish artist Kat Baxter for the first in this series. Only 2000 bottles are being produced with one lucky person set to win the original artwork.

Based in Dundee, Kat is a Scottish artist, who graduated from Duncan of Jordanstone in 2011 with a degree in Fine Art.

Her highly distinctive mixed media paintings incorporate watercolour, ink and collage and come from a love of flora and fauna and draw influence from Mexican Day of the Dead design and stylised drawing.

Kat was the Autumn 2016 winner of the Wraptious design competition and her work is rapidly building a following.

Along with Kat’s range of designs for Wraptious, she has exhibited with Eduardo Alessandro Studios in their gallery in Broughty Ferry and also with EA Studios at the Affordable Art Fairs in Hamsptead 2017-18 Battersea 2017 and also Edinburgh and Glasgow Art Fairs 2017 and recently began showing work with Gallery ONE in Inverurie.

Pre-sales open at 9am today and bottles will be shipped first week in July

The Artist Edition with ‘Ginny the Coo’ is available from the Kinrara website, and good independent bottle shops and gift shops. www.kinraradistillery.com
