6 days AGOSadie JonesGourmet Gossip

A new family daytime party is to be launched in Digbeth this Easter. #Gassed is a new concept, bringing families together through a mutual love of music, dance and art. The event will feature dance battles, street art, DJ workshops, gaming and more.

The first #Gassed event will take place on Saturday 31st March at Mama Roux’s, Digbeth, and will open from 1pm to 4pm. All ages welcome.

DJs on the day include Dan Kelly (Free Radio) and Stoneheart, who will provide a fun mix of old vs new Dance, RnB, Garage, Reggae and Hip Hop. Dance battles will form an integral part of this event, with additional activities, such as DJ workshops, street art workshops, gaming, glitter art, airbrush tattooing and more, also available.

During the event, activities will take place across Mama Roux’s and the ‘as yet unnamed’ venue next door, as well as their brand new garden area. Award winning Digbeth Dining Club will be open alongside #Gassed, offering a selection of street food from the regions top traders

“Here at #Gassed we don’t think there’s anything better than dancing, good music and spending time as a family. If you agree, then this is the perfect family event for you and yours!”

#Gassed is the latest event from local company Beyond Radical Events, who have been working closely with Mama Roux and Digbeth Dining Club to bring this exciting event to the Midlands.

Tickets for the event are now available from Skiddle. Early Bird tickets are priced from £5 (inc. booking fee)
